Twenty five years ago, in 1982, Calvin released his 1st recording and since then, has never looked back… till now. Who knew back then, that after 25 years of recording, Calvin would have composed more than 370 tunes? And that so many would become standard fiddle tunes in the repertoire of fiddlers everywhere. So to celebrate 25 years of recording, it was decided that a compilation CD containing an original composition from each of the years he recorded was in order. As you listen through the CD, you will hear differences in the recordings. Different recording studios with different recording techniques throughout the years have created different sounds. Calvin always stated, from day one, that he always wanted the next album to be better than the last.Calvin has recorded 47 albums in the past 25 years, a testament to his talent and his devotion to his musical career. Of those 47 albums, every one of themis someone’s personal favorite, a great compliment to Calvin, who produces most of his own recordings.
