Bringing in the year 2000. We all went through a bit of stress. Was the power going to shut off? Were the computers of the world going to fail us? Well we decided to stay home for this occasion. Have a party. Make some music. Invited some family & friends over. It was wonderful. The snow was falling outside. We were nice and warm inside. Our nephew, Bradley, who is the son of Brian and Lucette Cottell, (Rhea's sister), had a great time. He was only 1-1/2 years old at the time. One of his first parties, I'm sure. He wanted to dance, dance & then dance some more. As soon as the music would stop, he would be hollering, 'ENCORE', 'ENCORE' (as you will hear). This is the 4th Live House Party I've recorded, but it's the first one also available on CD. Live from Calvin's Kitchen was the 1st party, Live from Randy's Kitchen was the 2nd party, & Live from Mon oncle Edmond's was the 3rd party. They have all been very popular because it's the real thing. Sitting down playing music at a house party. Not all the polish of a studio recording, where you can go fix mistakes. Here we just get at it. Never knowing what the next tune will be. I hope you enjoy |
